Ha Giang Loop Motorbike Tour 5 Day 4 Nights From Vietnam’s Travel Blogger
Day 1
In the evening, take a bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang City. The night trip will save you 1 sleeping space in the car. If you go at 8 pm, at 5 am you will arrive in Ha Giang city. Get off the bus to rest a bit and have breakfast. After you have finished living, you go to a motorbike rental address in Ha Giang to choose a good motorbike. You can rent a motorbike here.
After getting the motorbike is 8am. Then you follow the happy road (National Highway 4C) from Ha Giang city to Dong Van. On this section you will pass Bac Sum, remember to check in this place, because it is really beautiful.
Go straight to Quan Ba heaven gate, then stop to check in Quan Ba twin mountain. In Quan Ba, there is a village of the Red Dao ethnic group. I guess by this time around noon, you can rest in Quan Ba for one night before heading to Dong Van. In Quan Ba, you can stay at Hong Thu Homestay (Book in here). In the evening, they have organizing the festival of the Red Dao people, you can join.
Day 2
Wake up, have breakfast and hit the road to continue the journey. At this time, on the way there probably appeared a lot of flowers triangular circuit. You can take advantage of taking pictures and enjoy the scent of this flower. In the morning, you will pass through Yen Minh pine forest on Highway 4C, the scenery is really beautiful and peaceful. You can stop to take pictures but remember to watch the road, because it is quite zigzag and dangerous.
Through Yen Minh town, you will encounter Tham Ma slope.
Remember to check in here. Continuing on Highway 4C, you will reach the film studio of Pao’s House – a house that has appeared on a very good Vietnamese TV series.
After visiting Pao’s House, it’s almost noon, remember to stop for a meal and continue on the way. On the way you will see the word greeting gate Dong Van. This place is also near Bui Homestay. There is a cheap way to Lung Cu flagpole – Also a scenic spot not to be missed. Let’s go to Lung Cu flagpole. On the way, you will pass many flowers triangular circuit gardens. This season really looks like a picture of paradise. Take advantage of taking a lot of photos because the way will make you faint down because it is so beautiful. When going to Lung Cu flagpole, remember to check in with the flagpole, the first place of the country. If you still have time, you can go to the nearby Lo Lo village and go to the very famous North Pole cafe.
Sitting there listening to the whispering wind, watching the ethnic people in the northern mountainous region. In the evening, move to Dong Van old town to rest.
Here, I recommend you stay at Old House Homestay (Nhà cổ homestay) – a Dong Van homestay with an age of over 200 years (Book in here) This is the house of the old Hmong people, you can enjoy warm tea and eat here.
In the evening, walk around the old town of Dong Van, watching the beautiful scenery. Occasionally there will be cultural exchanges on weekends.
Day 3
When you wake up in the morning, I recommend you to go and eat hot banh cuon at Madam Ha (No. 31, Dong Van old town), this is a specialty and extremely delicious dish. If you visit on Saturday and Sunday, there will be Dong Van market (behind the old town cafes). Remember to spend about 1-2 hours in the market to visit, it’s quite fun.
This is the day when you can freely enjoy the scenery in Dong Van more. After going to Dong Van market, continue to check in Ma Pi Leng pass. The most beautiful pass in Vietnam. Looking down from the pass, you will see Tu San alley with clear blue water.

After disembarking, you can go to Panorama cafe to see the majesty of Ma Pi Leng pass and enjoy the beautiful scenery. At this time, go to the White Cliffs above to take advantage of beautiful photos. This sightseeing time can take you a few hours, so before going to the white cliffs, eat first.

Day 4
On this day, you continue to go around on the road of Happiness, to Meo Vac town, remember to follow DT182 road to go to Du Gia – A village with many beautiful terraced fields. The season you visit is the flowers triangular circuit season, so the rice will also be golden and very beautiful. You can come to Du Gia early, so go to Du Gia waterfall to bathe in the waterfall and see the majestic scenery here.
